Darren Anderton and Ledley King visited Hollywood's famous landmarks on a whistle-stop tour of 'Tinseltown', the home of the US film industry in Los Angeles on Thursday.
Our legendary former players and Club Ambassadors visited the Walk Of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard, then Hollywood Park for a photograph opportunity under the famous 'Hollywood' sign and finally the Griffith Observatory, famously featured in recent Oscar-winning film La La Land.
Walk of Fame, Hollywood Boulevard
First up, the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard, home of the stars, in fact, home of over 2,500 permanent stars on the pavement bearing the names of film stars, musicians, directors and many sectors of the entertainment industry.
We had a challenge for Darren and Ledley - to find as many British stars on the Walk of Fame as they could.
Meanwhile, they stopped for photographs outside two notable theatres on Hollywood Boulevard, the Chinese Theatre and El Capitan Theatre.
The Hollywood Sign
First built in 1923, the Hollywood sign is one of the most recognised landmarks in the world.
Sitting on Mount Lee and towering above Los Angeles, the white letters are 44 feet high and together measure 352 feet.
Griffith Observatory
Built in 1935, the Griffith Observatory is the most visited observatory in the world, made famous for appearances in films like James Dean's 'Rebel Without A Cause' and most recently, La La Land.
It's a popular tourist attraction with an excellent view of the Hollywood Sign and an extensive array of space and science-related displays.
