Mauricio Pochettino said Erik Lamela and Moussa Sissoko will not feature in our third and final International Champions Cup (ICC) match against AC Milan in Minneapolis on Tuesday night (7.35pm local, 1.35am Thursday UK).

Erik missed the second match of our US Tour against Barcelona with a minor muscle injury while Moussa was forced off early at the Rose Bowl after feeling his hamstring.

Again, Mauricio hopes this isn’t a big issue.

It makes no sense to take any risks with them

Speaking ahead of open training at the US Bank Stadium on Monday evening local time, Mauricio reported: “Erik and Moussa are not going to play tomorrow.

“We hope it is not a big issue (for both players) and that is why they are here with us, but for tomorrow, it makes no sense to take any risks with them.

“Victor Wanyama has gone back to London for a scan (on his knee). That is the situation.”
