Tottenham HotspurLedley King was joined on stage by a special guest as we finished our Supporters' Club evenings in style in Minneapolis on Monday.
Ice hockey legend Shjon Podein won the NHL's Stanley Cup in 2001 and was one of the first members of Minneapolis Spurs.
Shjon presented another packed-out Supporters' Club evening at the Surly Brewing Co, Malcolm Ave, starting the event with a chat with our legendary former skipper before throwing questions open to the floor.
As always, question topics were far and wide from the audience, including Ledley's time on the ice visiting Anaheim Ducks in LA, what he misses most about home while he's away, his emotions at the Lane finale, advice he'd give a young MLS player and the most intelligent player he'd played with.
"I played with Nourredine Naybet in 2004, 2005 when I was younger and he was in his 30s, he played a completely different way to me and I learned a lot," said Ledley. "Of course, Teddy Sheringham as well, he was always one step ahead."
On Davinson Sanchez: "The ease with which he slipped into the team and into the Premier League was incredible for such a young defender," said Ledley. "And the best thing is, at his age, he will only get better and better."
On still holding the record for the fastest goal in Premier League history: "I was actually a bit embarrassed when it went in because it took a deflection," explained Ledley. "However, the record still stands and it wasn't until Christian Eriksen scored so quickly against United last season that I realised I actually care about it!"
Asked about which player would really drive the team on on his day, Ledley replied: "Robbie Keane cared passionately about the game and the Club and he was the player who would drum into everyone the standards we had to reach."
After the Q&A, presented with a stunning backdrop of the Club's logo beamed onto a huge grain tower, Ledley signed autographs and posed for selfies.
Another successful night culminated in a shirt exchange between the Club and Minneapolis Spurs SC.
