Heung-Min Son has heaped the praise on his ’amazing’ team-mate Dele Alli.

English playmaker Dele was in fine form on Wednesday night as he ran the show in our 2-0 Carabao Cup win over Arsenal.

The 22-year-old created our first goal of the night as he found space in behind to pick out Sonny on 20 minutes before finding the back of the net himself just before the hour mark as he audaciously dinked the ball over Petr Cech.

For South Korean international Sonny, Dele is a delight to watch and believes he is only going to get better.

He’s an amazing player and he’s still young, he can still go forward, and I really enjoy watching him.

“His goal was amazing,” our number seven smiled.

“When I watch him, I really enjoy it because he’s running for the team and scoring goals, making assists for the team, he’s an amazing player and he’s still young, he can still go forward, and I really enjoy watching him.”

Sonny’s strike against the Gunners was his third goal in his last five games and for the winger, there is little better feeling than finding the back of the net, especially as he helped book our place in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup.

“Scoring goals always make me happy and so it was amazing to score on Wednesday, especially with our fans and our players. It was special. I’m really happy,” he added.

“It was brilliant result. We remember that the last time we were at the Emirates, it was a disappointing result and but we got what we wanted this time. We’re in the semi-finals, we deserved it and I’m really happy with that.”
