World Cup stars back at Hotspur Way

Our nine players to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup - including World Cup winning captain Hugo Lloris - returned for pre-season training at Hotspur Way on Monday.

Hugo, who lived the dream of lifting the trophy after France beat Croatia in the final last month, was joined by Golden Boot winner Harry Kane and England team-mates Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Kieran Trippier and our Belgian trio Toby Alderweireld, Mousa Dembele and Jan Vertonghen. Belgium beat England for third place in Russia.

The returning players underwent medical testing in the morning session before stepping back out on the pitches at the Training Centre in the afternoon.

Overall, it's day 29 of pre-season and we're now just five days away from our opening match of the Premier League campaign at Newcastle United on Saturday (12.30pm).
