Yuri Berchiche rewarded volunteers who sacrifice their time to improve the lives of vulnerable residents in Enfield at a recent ceremony.

The Academy defender was joined at the event by Southgate MP David Burrowes and the Borough’s deputy mayor, Cllr Lee Chamberlain.

Over 200 volunteers received certificates for putting in 100 hours of unpaid work over the course of the past year.

Yuri, who joined us from Athletic Bilbao last summer, said: “These volunteers are very important to their neighbourhood and I think they deserve to be rewarded.”
