Young duo through to Under-17 World Cup Final

Tashan Oakley-Boothe and TJ Eyoma are heading to the FIFA Under-17 World Cup Final with England!

The Academy duo both played a part as the Young Lions beat Brazil 3-1 in Wednesday afternoon’s semi-final in India, setting up a clash with Spain, who beat Mali by the same scoreline in their last four clash.

Midfielder Tashan, who featured for our first team on our pre-season tour of America and made his competitive debut against Barnsley in the Carabao Cup in September, once again completed the full game against Brazil while right-back TJ came on as a substitute in the 71st minute.

The final takes place on Saturday 28 October, kick-off 3.30pm UK time.
