Welcoming Wembley Cadets

Sat 04 November 2017, 13:30|Tottenham Hotspur

With the Club’s presence in Wembley this season, we are honoured to have two local young people from the Wembley Cadet Force participating in tomorrow’s Remembrance activities.

Cadet Company Sergeant Major Jeevan Mistry and Cadet Jenny El-Mast from the Army Cadet Force 205 Wembley ACF Parachute Regiment will march to the centre circle and lay a wreath of poppies to remember all those who have lost their lives fighting for their country.

Based just a short distance from Wembley Stadium, the Wembley Cadet Centre on Harrow Road is part of the Army Cadet Force, a national voluntary youth organisation with a membership of over 45,000 12-18 year old boys and girls, operating in over 1,700 locations all over the UK. It aims to inspire young people to achieve success in life and provides opportunities for young people to embark upon adventurous training activities while also learning military skills and ethos.
