Watch White Hart Lane Farewell Ceremony

16 May 2017|Tottenham Hotspur

Here's your chance to re-live the White Hart Lane Farewell Ceremony in full.

Following Sunday's 2-1 victory over Manchester United, we said goodbye to our home of 118 years with a poignant celebration of the storied old stadium.

The Ceremony began with The Story of White Hart Lane, produced by Theo Delaney and narrated by Oscar-nominated actor/director and lifelong Spurs fan, Sir Kenneth Branagh.

This was followed by an introduction of former players that have graced the hallowed turf while ‘Oh When the Spurs Go Marching In’ was performed by the London Community Gospel Choir, with accompaniment from the specially-assembled Tottenham Hotspur Marching Band, arranged by Grammy Award-winning musical director, Steve Sidwell.

Flanked by 20 academy players from the Under-9s to Under-18s age groups, the current first team then made their way onto the pitch.

This was followed by the Final Farewell, with fans invited to raise their flags as ‘Glory, Glory Hallelujah’ was performed by Tottenham Hotspur fan and world-renowned tenor, Wynne Evans, accompanied by the London Community Gospel Choir and the Tottenham Hotspur Marching Band, arranged by Steve Sidwell.
