As you, our fans know, the Club has always followed a policy of announcing transfers when and only when it is commercially practical to do so and the transaction is confirmed. We are aware that there has been to date, and again this weekend, a significant amount of speculation regarding Didier Zokora. As always we are keen that you should receive timely, accurate information and, therefore, we can confirm that we are in advanced discussions with the player and his club, St Etienne.
