There are likely to be four Spurs players named in Peter Taylor's squad: Michael Dawson, Tom Huddlestone, Aaron Lennon and Calum Davenport (currently on loan at Norwich).
Dawson, who now has 11 Under-21s caps and one goal, is calling on fans to turn out to cheer the team on: "The chance to play for England at White Hart Lane is something very special for me. There is a strong Spurs presence in the U21 squad and I know that although Wayne Routledge is recovering from injury.
"Playing for the Under-21s has been one of the highlights of a great year for me. Since joining Spurs in January I have enjoyed every minute of my football this year and playing at such a level with a high-quality team has improved my game tremendously."
Ex-Spur, Under-21 Coach Peter Taylor is hoping that a full crowd can get behind the team as they aim to secure a comfortable win against a tough France side. A win will be crucial as England then travel to France for the return leg on Tuesday, November 15 at the 20,000-capacity Stade Marcel Picot in Nancy, in northeastern France. The eight play-off winners qualify for next year's Championship, which will run from May 25 to June 6.
The match will also be shown live on Sky Sports.
