Travel advice - Shamrock Rovers
Advice for fans travelling to Dublin for our Europa League match against Shamrock Rovers on Thursday.
Fans travelling to Dublin will find a welcoming city full of bars, cafes and a Christmas Market.
There is plenty to explore in and around the city but once in the city centre, it is suggested fans head for the Temple Bar area, where they will find a number of bars that will welcome Tottenham Hotspur supporters.
Travel from the airport to the town centre should take no longer than 30 minutes.
There is a blue bus route that runs from the airport to the town centre at a cost of 8 Euros per single journey.

To travel back to the Tallaght Stadium - which is situated away from the city centre in Tallaght, Dublin 24 - it is suggested that you take the Luas tram from the main bus terminal called Busaras. You will need to use the Red line and that will drop you within a five-minute walk to the stadium.

Spurs fans will be located in the North West corner of the main stand which will be accessible via turnstile block 2. All searching will be carried out by the Shamrock Rovers stewards and the local Police.
Flags and banners will be welcomed at the stadium but these will be checked prior to entry. It is common policy and normal ground rules at football stadia in the UK and Europe that flags of an overtly sectarian/political/religious nature will not be permitted. Police Authorities have advised that those flags will not be allowed access and maybe confiscated- please respect this request.
As always, there will be a number of Tottenham Hotspur stewards who will be working alongside their colleagues from Shamrock Rovers. They will be easily identifiable in THFC yellow travel bibs. Please feel free to speak to them about any problems you may have whilst at the stadium.
May we please remind you that anyone travelling to our Europa League matches is doing so as an Ambassador of the Club. It is vital that respect is shown at all times to our hosts and the local community. Cases of disorder will be dealt with firmly by the local Police in Dublin.
The Laws in Ireland are very similar to those in the UK, however, it is worth noting that drinking is not allowed on the streets of Dublin.
If there is an emergency during your visit to Dublin you can contact British Consular staff on the following number:
