The Club is delighted to announce the formation of an official club partnership with South China.

The relationship with the Hong Kong-based football club will look to focus on football and commercial development. This will include a best practice exchange programme, a shared knowledge of coaching methods and techniques as well as coach visits.

Along with football-based objectives there will also be an agreement to explore further commercial opportunities.

Paul Barber, Tottenham Hotspur Executive Director said: "Tottenham Hotspur already has an established following in Hong Kong and given the history and success of South China they are a welcome partner. The agreement with South China is an exciting opportunity for the Club to grow in a key commercial market."

Mr. Steven Lo, Chairman of South China Football Management Committee said: "South China is seeking to venture internationally and is honoured to be Tottenham Hotspur's first club partner in Asia."

The partnership is initiated with a two-year contract with an option for further engagement.

South China will be Tottenham Hotspur's fourth official Club partnership. The Club currently has a successful partnership with South African league champions SuperSport United, MLS outfit San Jose Earthquakes and Sport Club Internacional (Inter) of Brazil.

Tottenham Hotspur played South China as part of the Club's pre-season tour of the Far East and the formation of the relationship could see more friendly matches being played between the two clubs.

South China is the most successful club in Hong Kong having won a record 39 First Division League titles, 20 Senior Shields, nine FA Cups and two League Cups.
