The Lane, The Finale

Fri 28 April 2017, 17:10|Tottenham Hotspur

Plans to ensure a fitting finale to White Hart Lane will unfold during the coming weeks culminating in a Farewell Ceremony at our final home game against Manchester United on Sunday 14 May.

In the lead up to this will be a host of initiatives aimed at engaging fans as we herald this milestone in the Club's history - The Lane, The Finale.

Keep an eye out from tomorrow as our club channels are transformed in dedication to the Lane.

Key aspects from our famous home will feature across our channels and there will also be a dedicated section of our site that will house the latest news and updates on how to get involved in The Lane, The Finale celebrations.

As you may have seen, we have already started collecting fan memories of White Hart Lane. This will continue and we would urge everyone to get involved and share your stories by CLICKING HERE...

The best of these will then be published on our forthcoming unique digital timeline of the Lane, whilst others could also be selected to appear in a docufilm that the Club has commissioned as a tribute to our home of 118 years, featuring some of the biggest names to grace the stadium over the years as well as behind-the-scenes access to the current first team on matchdays.

In paying homage to the Lane, we have created a unique crest - you can see this at the top of the page - to commemorate this important moment in the Club's history.

The design of this special emblem has been inspired by some of the most iconic aspects of the Lane including the golden cockerels and shields that proudly sit at the top of our East and West stands and our famous black gates which once formed the original entrance to our stadium and are forever linked with our legendary former manager Bill Nicholson.

As well as being used across our channels in the build up to our final home match against Manchester United, it will feature throughout a special collection of merchandise for fans to purchase in the build-up - available now HERE...

A commemorative matchday programme will be produced and available to pre-order ahead of the match v Manchester United.

Despite our final home game being sold out some time ago, there are still opportunities for fans to come and visit the Lane for the final time.

We shall be running special ‘Finale’ walk up Tours from 1-7 May which do not have to be booked in advance. CLICK HERE for more information.

Please be aware that no further stadium tours will take place following our final home game, as the site will be handed over to our stadium project team within 24 hours of the final whistle.

Tickets are also still available for our penultimate fixture at the Lane as we face Leicester City in Premier League 2 action on Thursday 4 May, kick off 7pm so why not come and cheer on the lads and enjoy another night out at the Lane.

Proceeds from this game will be donated to the charity being established by the family of the late Ugo Ehiogu which will be aimed at giving children equal opportunity to access and play football. CLICK HERE to purchase your tickets online.

Season Ticket Holders will receive an email next week about the opportunity to purchase their very own seat from the Lane and we have organised the donation of a number of other items from within the stadium to local sports clubs and community causes.

A custom-made Time Capsule is planned to be buried at a point of overlap between the old and the new stadia. We shall be asking fans to play a part in making this a significant aspect of the Club for future generations to enjoy.

It promises to be an exciting few weeks ahead and there will be plenty more updates across our channels on The Lane, The Finale as we get closer to the big day.
