Sandro has been named in a strong Brazil squad for the Olympics.

The all-action midfielder - capped 13 times - joins the likes of Hulk, Neymar and Alexandre Pato in Mano Menezes' squad for the Games in Great Britain.

Porto striker Hulk is one of Brazil's over-aged players alongside Real Madrid's Marcelo and Thiago Silva of AC Milan.

Brazil face Egypt, Belarus and New Zealand in Group C, kicking-off against Egpyt at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on Thursday, July 26. They then face Belarus at Old Trafford on July 29 and finally New Zealand at St James' Park on August 1.

The top two from each group progress to the quarter-finals on August 4.

Before the tournament, Sandro looks set to face his team-mates Steven Caulker and Danny Rose as Brazil take on Great Britain in a friendly at Middlesbrough on Friday, July 20.
