Our matches in the Vodacom Challenge in South Africa will be televised live by ESPN.
It has been eight long weeks since the end of last season, but finally the lads are back in action, as we travel to South Africa for matches against the Rainbow Nation’s top teams in the 2011 Vodacom Challenge – and ESPN will be there to cover all the action.
First up is Kaiser Chiefs on Saturday 16th at 2pm, followed by Orlando Pirates on Tuesday at 7.15pm, and the final game the following Saturday at 2pm.
The Vodacom Challenge is just one of the many glamorous pre-season tournaments on ESPN this summer as we eagerly count down to the start of the 2011/12 season. Such tournaments include the Copa America and Emirates Cup, as well as one-off friendlies such as Marseille v Man Utd, Liverpool v Valencia plus many more.
This season ESPN will continue to show a host of top-class football from around the globe every week, including the Barclays Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Europa League, Clydesdale Bank Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, Eredivisie and International Fixtures.
