'Our fantastic full-backs' - Dele's praise for Rose and Walker

Dele Alli was full in his praise for our full-backs after a matchwinning effort from Kyle Walker and Danny Rose against Burnley on Sunday.

A constant threat down the flanks, Kyle set up Dele’s equaliser before Danny lashed home the winner in the second half.

That came just a few days after the pair contributed assists in the 3-0 win against Hull.

“They are two fantastic players and it’s a joy to play with them,” said Dele, who turned home Kyle’s cross just six minutes after Burnley grabbed the lead.

“They provide such pace and power down the flank and they defend so well as well, and that’s so important.

“It was a great assist from ‘Walks’ for the first goal and a great goal from Danny for the second.”

Danny certainly took the headlines after crashing home the winner. “He’s a fantastic full-back - I don’t think there are many better in the Premier League,” added Dele. “He deserves everything he gets.”

Meanwhile, Dele was happy to be back on target - his first Premier League goal since mid-September - taking his tally to four in the Premier League and five in all competitions this term.

“I hope to find some finishing form and start getting a few more goals,” he added. “I need to beat my target from last season, so I have to make sure I put them away now.”
