NFL stars get the full Spurs experience

21 July 2016|Tottenham Hotspur

It was great to have the company of some of the stars of the NFL over the past couple of weeks, in London promoting this year’s International Series games that will take place at Wembley and Twickenham in the autumn.

Chris Baker and DeAngelo Hall from the Washington Redskins and Odell Beckham Jnr from the New York Giants all took part in activities with the Club as part of a partnership that will see a minimum of two regular season NFL games per year played at our new stadium over a 10-year period.

Despite the jetlag, all the players showed they were good sports. A Year 7 student at Northumberland Park School ran rings around Hall as the Redskin tried his hand at our version of football, and Beckham Jnr made his famous one-handed catch look easy, even with the spherical-shaped ball.
