Our young Irish winger Mark Yeates has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal at the Club.

The 21-year-old product of our Academy has featured four times in the first team on top of loan spells at Brighton, Swindon and Colchester United.

Indeed, last season's loan at Colchester proved a huge success for the Irish youth international with 52 appearances and six goals in all competitions as the U's were promoted from League One. He also played against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup.

The only down side to that successful campaign was when Mark suffered a dislocated shoulder in the penultimate match but he recovered and is now taking part in pre-season training at Spurs Lodge.
