Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Saturday marked mission accomplished for Dean Marney after 10 years at Spurs - now another mission begins.
The young midfielder admitted he always dreamt of making his first team debut after joining the club as a nine-year-old.
That dream became reality at Birmingham City when Dean stepped off the bench to make quite an impact as substitute - forcing the save of the match from Maik Taylor from his volley and picking up a yellow card for a rash tackle on Stern John.
Dean reflected: "I've been at the club since I was nine and it has always been my dream to play for Tottenham's first team.
"I did that at Birmingham but now everything starts again and I've got to push on from here.
"My aim when I was nine was to get offered a contract, then YTS, then my first pro contract, I've just signed another and playing for the first team so I've passed all my goals so far.
"My next goal has to be to play for the first team again before the end of the season and perhaps get a start."
But Dean, reserve team skipper last term, remains realistic. "The club has a lot of injuries so when those players come back, my aim will be to get into the squad," he said.
"If I'm not, then it will be up to me to prove in reserve games that I'm worthy of a place. I understand that. There are players injured, I got an opportunity and it's up to me to take it."
As for that shot at St Andrew's, he added: "It sat up lovely, I couldn't really see it because it went through a crowd of players and I was praying that it went in but obviously the keeper made a decent save.
"If that had gone in I'd have done some thing stupid, made myself look an idiot, but it would have been worth it!"
