Legendary former captain Ledley King recently surprised guests during a special stadium tour organised for families supported by Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, the Club’s Official Charity Partner.
The two-year partnership sees the Club help raise awareness of North London’s only ‘Hospice at Home’ service and drives the recruitment of volunteers via high profile events and the support of First Team players.
Ledley’s appearance was one of the many ‘Precious Moments’ that Noah’s Ark has provided to children and families, with the Club celebrating the first year of its Official Charity Partnership at this Sunday’s match with Everton at the Lane.
During the tour, the former England international appeared in the dressing room, to the delight of the audience, before answering questions, posing for photographs and signing autographs.

Speaking at the event, Ledley said: “It’s a difficult time for some of these families so it’s great Noah’s Ark organise days like today where they can come to enjoy themselves and forget about some of their worries. It’s amazing to be able to put a smile on their faces and know you’ve made a difference.”
Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice provides clinical, emotional and practical care and support to children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, with the aim of enabling them to live life as fully as possible, regardless of cognitive or sensory ability. The charity also offers respite and support to families, helping them to face the future with hope after bereavement.
