Jermain Defoe is used to doing keep ups. Often found at the end of a session juggling a ball again and again, he swapped the ball for a red nose last week as he got behind the campaign to support Red Nose Day.
A self-confessed fan of reality TV, Jermain' keep ups will feature on Comic Relief does Fame Academy on CBBC every morning this week as guests try to beat his record of keeping a red nose up for as long as possible.
There was some discussion as to how many he would be able to do, after all, a red nose made of foam is not the easiest thing in the world to control, but having managed fifty keep ups in his first attempt the crew soon realised that his record would take some beating.
As for taking part in the competition, Jermain was a little more reluctant. "I love watching the programmes and it’s all for a great cause, but you haven’t heard me sing - I think I’ll stick to the football!"
