Tottenham HotspurFans in attendance at last Sunday's win over Bournemouth at the Lane were introduced at half-time to Irene McBride, our oldest Season Ticket Holder who recently celebrated her 101st birthday.
Irene received an incredible reception as she made her way pitchside to receive a gift from one of her favourite former players from down the years, Pat Jennings.
The moment captured the imagination of not only fans and Harry Kane (see above video) it also went around the globe.
The Sun and Mirror websites went big on the story in this country, while the news spread to the US and South Korea, showing just how much the support of fans like Irene makes the game of football what it is.
