I FELT the win at Everton back in April last year was our best away performance of last season.

We only won 1-0 but it was a game we could have won three or four, we were that good on the day - anywhere like that type of performance again and we'll be alright.

Everton are a very rugged side, they play the game at a tempo that suits them and it's a difficult game.

In terms of formation, they have chopped and changed over the last couple of seasons. They had a very successful campaign using a 4-3-3/4-5-1 system but they've been more of a 4-4-2 this season.

A major plus for them is Johnson and when you have a player with that pace and the ability to score goals then he's one they always miss when he's not around.

Across the middle of the park, Arteta is a big influence, Van der Meyde is in the side now after a slow introduction, Carsley is always very dogged but Cahill is suspended and that's a plus for us.

In the full-back positions, Lescott played there last time out alongside Phil Neville while centrally you are looking at Yobo and Stubbs, so there is plenty of experience in there.

Goodison Park is always a tough place to go but we now look to build on Sunday's win at Fulham.
