Chris Hughton's thoughts on our UEFA Cup quarter-final, second leg against Sevilla at the Lane tonight (Thursday, 7.45pm).

LOOKING back, we started very well in the first leg, scored the early goal and the penalty saw them grow in confidence and deflated us a little.

We will take heart from our performance though, especially as they made changes to make themselves more solid and hold onto that 2-1 lead.

I don't imagine their line-up will be too much different at our place. They play a certain way and are generally very strong down the right with Navas and Alves, Adriano is very good on the left flank with Fredi Kanoute and Kerzhakov up front. They are a very well organised team and a team that plays in the tempo that has seen them enjoy the season they’ve had.

They left six players out over the weekend and got what would have been a disappointing result for them with the way their season has been going, a home draw against Real Zaragoza, a game they would have felt they should have won. They are still right up there in La Liga though.

You can’t afford to play such an open game that it leaves you vulnerable because they have enough quality to score goals home or away. If they score, we need to rely on our quality to score more goals. There will always be a note of caution but we’re at home and we need to score. I'm expecting another wonderful occasion.
