The accolades keep on rolling in for Harry Kane!
Already the Premier League’s Golden Boot winner for the second campaign in a row, not to mention being named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year once again, Harry has now picked up the PFA Fans’ Premier League Player of the Season prize.
With the winner decided by the general public, over 49,000 votes were cast, with Harry coming out on top with 16,378 votes.
Chelsea's N’Golo Kante (13,515 votes) and Eden Hazard (8,412 votes) were second and third in the poll, while our own Dele Alli also claimed 3,507 votes lower down the field.
Very happy to win this award! Proud feeling to be recognised by the fans themselves! Thank you! ⚽️ https://t.co/J59f5b0cRI— Harry Kane (@HKane) 27 May 2017
Harry rounded off another fine campaign by scoring in yesterday’s 4-1 friendly win over Kitchee SC in Hong Kong.
He’s also back in the England squad after missing March’s round of international fixtures through injury and is looking forward to next month’s matches away to Scotland and France.
