Glenn's delight at Zamora deal

Glenn Hoddle hailed the arrival of Bobby Zamora as 'great business' - before hinting more signings could be on the way.

We confirmed the £1.5m capture of one of the Nationwide League's hottest striking properties this afternoon.

Bobby, still just 22, bagged 76 goals in 146 appearances in his time at Brighton.

"We've been monitoring him for a very long time now," revealed Glenn after a busy press conference. "I saw him a lot last year and I feel he's matured now, he has the experience in the Under-21s and he's got great attributes for a striker.

"He's so young as well and at £1.5m it's great business for the club for the future.

"We've some great young strikers at the club now and who's to say we can't get another striker in? That is not out of the realms of possibility.

"We're not promising anything but we're certainly looking to bring in more fresh blood. That might mean people going out as well, but that's the situation at the moment."
