Everton boss Koeman: 'Tottenham are one of the strongest sides'

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has paid tribute to the strength of our team under Mauricio Pochettino ahead of Saturday's clash at Goodison Park.
Like us, the Toffees have won one, drawn one and lost one of their opening three Premier League fixtures.
They went down 2-0 at Chelsea last time out, while we conceded an injury-time equaliser at home to Burnley.
But with this month's international fixtures now complete, attentions now turn back to the domestic scene and Koeman, who succeeded Mauricio at Southampton before moving to Goodison at the start of last term, says he expects a difficult match.
“It’s a tough game because, in my opinion, Tottenham is one of the strongest sides in the Premier League,” he said.
“They are not happy about the results they’ve had in the start of the season, but the way they play football and the quality they have in their team, it makes it very tough.”
Recently acquired from Swansea City, former Spur Gylfi Sigurdsson looks set to face us, fresh from scoring twice in a 2-0 win for Iceland in Ukraine this week.
“I think Gylfi is now in the right position in terms of a physical state,” explained Koeman. “It was really tough for him to play two full games for us in such a short period, then he travelled with his national team as well.
“He's in a good physical state to be at his best for this Saturday. He will be full of confidence, too.”
