Club and AIA promote health and wellbeing in Thailand

Our Global Coaching team have been working with a group of 24 elite young players in Phuket, Thailand this week as part of an AIA initiative.
Anton Blackwood and Danny Mitchell are based in Asia to promote our Principal Partner’s ‘Longer, Healthier and Better Lives’ programme using football as a vehicle to promote physical wellbeing, motivation and decision-making.
The coaches, both trained within the Club’s Academy, selected the players, aged 12-14, from three training camps delivered across Thailand recently in Bangkok, Chonburi and Chiang Mai.
The group took part in two elite training sessions a day and a classroom session around nutrition and living life as a professional footballer.
It forms part of a wider long-term programme across Asia in partnership with AIA, using authentic Tottenham Hotspur coaching to promote health and wellbeing across the region.
