Our Under-18s made it two away wins in four days in the FA Premier Academy League with a 2-0 victory at Coventry City on Saturday.

Goals from Jonathan Obika and David Hutton (pictured rght) secured the three points at Coventry after a 2-1 win at Cardiff on Wednesday.

aturday's success was all the more impressive as coach Alex Inglethorpe lost the services of goalkeeper Richard Stroud after just five minutes - with David Button (ankle) and James Dalton (wrist) also out, it meant Under-15 keeper Jamie Butler donned the number one jersey!

We'll have a report and comments from Alex on Coventry on Monday.

Cardiff U18s 1, Spurs 2

The ever-improving pair of David Hutton and Daniel Hutchins were the driving force behind the win in Wales in a re-arranged fixture on Wednesday.

Hutton was involved in the build-up that led to Yaser Kasim crossing for Hutchins to slot home the opening goal after 65 minutes and after conceding an equaliser, Hutton picked himself up after being fouled in the penalty area to score the winner from the spot.

"It was a long day for the lads, we left at 8.30am in the morning for the 2.30pm kick-off, the pitch wasn't that great but they coped very well," reported Alex.

"We passed the ball well and showed a lot of quality in the final third of the pitch, creating lots of chances.

"It's fair to say that Daniel has taken a while to adapt to first-team football but his attitude is great and his quality is getting better and better.

"David is a speedy winger and we've done a lot of work on his first touch of late, looking at how Aaron Lennon takes on his opponents and his performances for the reserves have been excellent."

Spurs U18s v Cardiff: Stroud, Adam Smith, Hughton, Hutchins, Alex Smith, Martin, Hutton, Livermore, Medley, Mason (Kasim, 60), Townsend (Obika, 65).
