Name: Charlie Daniels

Age and Academy yeargroup: 17 years old and I'm with the under

From: Wathamstow

Position: Midfield - anywhere across the middle.

How did you come to join Spurs?
I was playing for a Sunday league side, Interwood, and I got scouted. I don't remember who by, but I came down to the ball court at White Hart Lane and started from the at under-12 level.

How is the season going so far?
It started off a bit slow, but after Christmas it has gone up a pace. I am trying to prove myself a bit more and I think it is working. Being full-time was hard at first and it is a case of getting used to it. Once you apapt it is much easier.

Favourite personal footballing moment?
When we beat Arsenal 2-0 this season. It was a good moment because I went to school with a lot of them and it was nice to put one over them.

Most memorable game for Spurs?
The same game!

Favourite player from boyhood?
Ryan Giggs - his change of pace and crossing, everything.

Favourite current Spurs player?
Stephane Dalmat. In training he is electric, he's got two good feet and can do everything.

Favourite non-Spurs player?
Zinedine Zidane - probably the best player in the world.

What is your immediate to short-term ambition?
To keep progressing, get a few more reserve games under my belt and see where I go from there.

Ultimate ambition?
To stay at Spurs, get a pro contract and keep going.

Are you any good with your wrong foot?
I'm not bad, everyone else will say I'm not, but I keep working on it.

What is the strongest part of your game?
Probably my passing.

And the weakest?
My change of pace that I'm trying to work on.
