• Club celebrates Level Playing Field’s Weeks of Action 2018

Congratulations to Jack Kirkby, a visually-impaired fan who at 08:02 this morning became our first supporter to secure a Season Ticket at our new stadium for the 2018-19 season.

It comes as the first sales phase for supporters with access requirements who held a Season Ticket at White Hart Lane opened today. Supporters who purchased a Season Ticket for the first time this season at Wembley will be able to purchase in the second sales phase, which commences tomorrow (Friday).

As we celebrate Level Playing Field’s Weeks of Action, the Club is committed to being at the forefront of accessible stadia.

Our new stadium is fully compliant with the Accessible Stadia Guide and exceeds standards in many areas. The stadium will have accessible seating in all stands, including our single tier South Stand, plus the ability in certain areas for seating with family and friends.

For our fans with sensory impairments, a fully-equipped Sensory Suite has been incorporated to provide an environment that facilitates a graduated pathway to watching a live match.

The Sensory Suite will have a pitch view and be fully accessible, having been developed in liaison with experts in the field of autism and members of SpursAbility, our Disabled Supporters’ Association. Guests will be provided sensory bags and the Suite will also be used by the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation on non-match days for local schools and/or groups that require use of a sensory area.

There will be three Changing Places facilities – two within the stadium and one at the Tottenham Experience.

Designated accessible entrances with large passenger lifts provide access to all levels, where we shall offer temporary wheelchairs if required, charging points for motorised scooters and powerchairs and headsets to listen to our audio descriptive match commentaries.

Audio descriptive commentary will continue to be delivered by Club employees professionally trained in the Royal National Institute of Blind People’s Soccer Sight programme.

Access shall be provided for assistance dogs, along with dedicated relieving areas. In addition, we shall have dedicated stewarding teams with specialist training to work in our access areas and with guests who have access requirements.

For supporters with access requirements we have published a Frequently Asked Questions page in consultation with SpursAbility, available on iSpurs and in Season Ticket renewal packs.

Level Playing Field is an organisation promoting good access at stadia for all fans and its Weeks of Action highlight the positive initiatives undertaken by clubs, sporting venues and their governing bodies in partnership with disabled sports fans and disabled supporters’ associations (DSAs).
