Karen Hills is looking for Spurs Ladies to build on their win against Oxford last time out and potentially move back into the top half of Women's Super League 2 (WSL 2) this evening.

Spurs ended their toughest run for years - seven straight defeats in all competitions - by beating Oxford United last time out in WSL 2 on Sunday 11 February.

Now they take on WSL 2's bottom team Watford at Cheshunt FC (7.30pm) knowing back-to-back victories could lift them into fifth with Oxford, currently fifth, facing a tough away test at Brighton.

Karen felt all along that the players would turn their fortunes around, but has warned against any complacency tonight.

"The players have given us everything in training and the matches and I felt it was just a matter of time before we won again," said the manager. "We deserved more from a few games in that run and it was great to get the rewards against Oxford.

"The important thing now is that we start again, forget the league table and approach the Watford game in the same way. We'll certainly take nothing for granted. We're playing at a higher level this season and every game is a challenge.

"We're looking for momentum now. The players' attitude was key in ending that losing run against Oxford and hopefully the same attitude and application will see us put a good run of results together between now and the end of the season."

The players have given us everything in training and the matches and I felt it was just a matter of time before we won again.
