Mauricio Pochettino has paid tribute to Arsene Wenger following the announcement that he will step down as manager of Arsenal.
Wenger joined the Gunners in 1996 and will have spent 22 years at the helm when he departs at the end of the season.
Mauricio said: "I have nothing but admiration for the work Arsene Wenger has done during his time at Arsenal. I think every manager aspires to achieve what he has done in terms of sustaining success and staying at the top of the game for more than 20 years. He will go down in football history as one of the greats. He was an innovator, ahead of his time, and I think he deserves nothing but respect from everyone for the career he has had.”
