Mauricio on Jan's injury at West Brom

Mauricio Pochettino confirmed that Jan Vertonghen picked up an ankle injury at West Brom.

The defender, outstanding this season and making his 250th appearance for the Club, was injured just five minutes from time after a burst forward at The Hawthorns and had to be substituted.

Asked if there was any update on Jan, Mauricio told Spurs TV: “Not yet. We will have to wait until Monday. He twisted his ankle. Hopefully it's not a big issue."
