We have submitted new designs to Haringey Council for the main west stand High Road entrance of the new stadium.
The amendments are a direct response to feedback received from the Council’s Quality Review Panel and supporters, as well as the Club's own desire to improve the designs relating to this entrance of the building.
The key change sees the introduction of a sculptured glass arch which forms part of the stadium entrance and replaces the original escalator box design.
By adjusting the shape from a box to an arch, the latest design is in keeping with the look of both the east and south stands and creates a more visually stunning focal point to the main entrance of the stadium.
The new glazed canopy will continue to incorporate an internal escalator while also offering a more striking internal environment for spectators as they travel up to the various levels of the venue.
Considerable care and attention has also been taken in the revised design to ensure it presents itself to the High Road in a manner that strengthens the alignment of the stadium with the street, while maintaining the original proposed pavement width for the safe movement of spectators.
We are delighted that the scheme continues to progress and shall keep fans updated. Current works on site can be viewed via the live feed at www.tottenhamhotspur.com/new-scheme/stadium-tv
