Goalkeeper Barbora Votíková joined us in August, 2023.

Born in Plzeň, Czech Republic, she began her career at Viktoria Plzeň, where she made her senior debut in 2013.

After one season with the first team, she moved to Slavia Prague where she enjoyed a seven-year stay. During that time, she helped Slavia to four Women’s First League titles, a Czech Women’s Cup and to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League on three occasions (2015/16, 2017/18 and 2018/19).

In 2021, the shot stopper moved on to Paris Saint-Germain. In her first campaign in Paris, she kept nine clean sheets in 12 DR Arkema games and went on to be nominated for the league’s Goalkeeper of the Year award. She also reached the semi-finals of the Champions League with the French side in 2021/22.

Barbora represents Czech Republic on the international stage.
