First Team Player Profiles
Jamie O'Hara
Currently on loan at Portsmouth, the hard-working midfielder finally broke into our First Team in December 2007, having come through the Club's Academy.
Jamie made his senior Spurs debut off the bench in a 1-0 win over Portsmouth and a week later made his first start in a North London derby with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
He made 25 appearances in all competitions in 2007-08, scoring twice, before a first call-up and cap for England Under-21s. To round it all off, he was then voted the Club's Young Player of the Season.
Jamie continued his progress in 2008-09, scoring four times in 28 appearances. But the lifelong Spurs fan did suffer the heartbreak of missing a penalty in our shoot-out defeat against Manchester United in the 2009 Carling Cup Final at Wembley.
Nonetheless, he has now played over 50 times for the Club and can operate either in central midfield or on the left-hand side.
In August 2009 he decided to join Portsmouth on loan until January, but not before signing a new contract at White Hart Lane to keep him at the Club until 2013.
Jamie cut his professional teeth in a loan spell at Chesterfield, where he made 19 appearances, in 2005-06, and also enjoyed a loan spell at Millwall before making his first team bow at The Lane.
Jamie has also been capped by England at Under-16, 17, 18 and 21 levels.
