Mauricio Pochettino's latest on Victor Wanyama

Mauricio Pochettino reports positive news on Victor Wanyama.

The midfielder has been out since September with a knee injury but is progressing well in his rehabilitation work outdoors.

“We’re positive, his knee is reacting well but it’s still too early to say when it’s possible for him to join the group,” said Mauricio after training on Tuesday, ahead of our final Champions League group fixture against APOEL.

“We need to assess him day by day, week by week and we’ll see in the next few weeks if he can join the group.

“But yes, he’s in a good mood and we are happy so far. He has to keep working and if all goes well, hopefully he can join the group as soon as possible.”
