Under-19s return to Stemwede

An 18-man squad from our Academy has jetted off to Germany to take part in this year's Volksbank Cup in Stemwede.

We've been regulars at the Under-19 tournament in recent years but came away disappointed 12 months ago, having failed to qualify out of the group. We were previously semi-finalists in 2015, where we came up against Liverpool.

This time, we've been drawn against Lokomotiv Moscow, SV Rödinghausen, Werder Bremen and VfB Stuttgart in the group stage. Fulham and Glasgow Rangers are also taking part this year.

Our travelling squad is: Austin (GK), Freeman (GK), Dinzeyi, Duncan, Eyoma, Griffiths, Hinds, Markanday, Marsh, Mukendi, Roles, A Shashoua, S Shashoua, Skipp, Statham, Sterling, Tanganga, Tracey.
