The Fred Perry Urban Cup is back for the second year running. Nationally, over 3,000 young people took part in the competition last year and even more young people will be involved this year.

The Urban Cup is a table tennis competition involving every Premier League Football Club. The competition starts at Level 1 with competitions taking place in participating schools. Young people, both boys and girls, compete against each other for the top six places with the winners then progressing to Level 2 for an Inter-Satellite club competition against all schools.

This year, Tottenham Hotspur will host Level 2 at Ellenborough Table Tennis Club, our Premier League 4 Sport Hub Club for Table Tennis. Participants will compete to become the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation representatives for the National finals on December 3.

Last year, Tottenham Hotspur Foundation finished an impressive third place in both the boys and girls competitions. Kieron Burton and Charlie Skeggs, from Oasis Academy Enfield, represented the boys and Sophie Doyle, also from Oasis Academy, and Erin Rocket, from Edmonton County School, represented the girls.

Level 1 is currently taking place! If you are interested in becoming involved and taking part, please contact Robbie Payne-Inglis, Table Tennis Coach at Tottenham Hotspur Foundation on rpayne-inglis@etta.co.uk or 07805 060761.
