The pair linked up with their FIFA Under-20 World Cup-winning England team-mates for a special reception with HRH The Duke of Cambridge.
The Young Lions were invited to the home of The FA's President after their success in South Korea earlier this summer, as they became the first England side to win a World Cup at any level since the famous triumph of 1966.
Fresh from dropping off his son Prince George for his first day at school in the morning, The Duke spent time chatting to the squad and, as an Aston Villa supporter, spoke to Josh, who is currently on loan at Villa Park.
"Obviously winning the World Cup was a big thing but to get to visit the Duke was a great experience," said the young midfielder afterwards. "He told us how proud we made our nation, he wished us luck for the future and told us to keep working hard."
Kyle and Josh both appeared for England Under-21s in European Under-21 Championship qualifying during the international break, with Kyle making his debut at that level in a 3-0 win over Latvia while Josh played in a 1-1 draw in the Netherlands.
