Ready, Steady, Work!

Remploy, Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and Disability Croydon are working closely across 10 London Boroughs to support local people to find and stay in employment.

The main objective of the Ready Steady Work programme is to improve the skills of economically inactive people and help them to get back into work. Each person's needs are different, that's why Remploy's employment services are tailored to the individual - providing them with the best chance of finding employment.

Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is the delivery partner for Remploy and supporting Disabled Parents living in Barnet to undertake six hours of one-to-one mentoring support and to gain actual work based experience through the support of Tottenham Hotspur Foundation's existing workforce via our extensive range of projects and programmes. It is important for us to provide on-going professional development opportunities.

Remploy, Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and Disability Croydon will support unemployed parents with a disability or health condition through Ready Steady Work.

This free support includes:
· Confidence building
· Training and skills development
· Confidential, one-to-one advice
· Help to write a great CV
· Access to the latest vacancies with local employers
· Job search advice and help with completing application forms
· Interview practice
· Benefit calculations to find out how much better off you'll be in work
· Ongoing support when you are in work

This programme is funded by The European Social Fund (ESF). The ESF was introduced to improve employment opportunities in the European Union and help raise standards of living. It aims to support people to fulfil their potential by giving them better skills and job prospects. For more information, please visit: www.esf.gov.uk
