Adam Kingston, Keith Farrell and Deborah Herbert were invited to take part in the training session and get some expert advice to assist with the final part of their training before the Marathon on Sunday, April 24.

Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice, the Club’s official charity partner, is North London’s only children’s hospice supporting children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and their families in the boroughs of Barnet, Haringey, Enfield, Islington, Camden and Hertsmere.

The fitness session lasted for an hour and included tips on how to maintain stamina and pace during long distances, nutrition, recovery and the importance of following an effective training plan between now and race day.

The three runners have signed up to the 26 mile-long event to raise funds to support Noah’s Ark in providing its vital hospice-at-home service to more than 150 young people in the care of the charity living in our local community.
