Spurs Ladies players Ryah Vyse and Siobhan Wilson visited Spurs Lodge and were treated to an impromptu kickaround with members of the First Team squad.

The girls were rewarded having been selected by England Colleges for the recent Anglo-Welsh Shield.

Ryah and Siobhan are also part of the Spurs Ladies team that has held its own in their maiden season in the Women’s Premier League South and has reached the Final of the London FA Cup to be staged this Thursday, March 29.

A successful season was made even better when they were given the chance to watch the First Team train at Spurs Lodge before being invited to take part in a penalty shoot-out alongside Emmanuel Adebayor, Jake Livermore and Danny Rose following the training session.

Ryah and Siobhan are beneficiaries of the successful Education & Football Development Centre programme, run by the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation in partnership with three local colleges.

The pair study at Barnet & Southgate and are given the opportunity to study Academic qualifications while playing representative football for the College.

The girls’ scheme offers pathways through to the Spurs Ladies, and both Ryah and Siobhan have certainly made the most of the opportunity.

The next target for the pair is the London Cup Final against MSA Sports on Thursday, kicking-off at 7.30pm at Harrow Borough FC.

They then have another international against Scotland.

"It's been a fantastic experience to get through the trials and then play alongside girls from all over the country," said Ryah.

Siobhan added: "The college has been great with us. It's fair to say without the college, neither of us would be here."
