Eriksen in the running for April awards double

Christian Eriksen has been rewarded for an impressive month on the pitch with nominations for the Premier League's EA SPORTS Player of the Month and Carling Goal of the Month awards, while Dele Alli is also up for the latter prize.
Midfield craftsman Christian was involved in five league goals in April, scoring our first goals against Chelsea (3-1 win), Stoke City (2-1) win and Manchester City (3-1 defeat) while supplying assists for Harry Kane's effort at Stoke and Dele's opener in Monday night's 2-0 home win over Watford.
He also set up Dele for our goal in the FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester United.
In addition, Christian’s long-range thunderbolt just before half-time at Stamford Bridge on 1 April, which saw us come back from a goal down before going on to secure a memorable win, is in contention for Carling Goal of the Month, as is Dele's first of two in that game, where he latched onto Eric Dier's long ball forward and slammed home to make it 2-1.
