FIFA award nominations for Mauricio and Harry

Thu 17 August 2017, 16:00|Tottenham Hotspur

Mauricio Pochettino and Harry Kane have been shortlisted in top categories in The Best FIFA Football Awards 2017.

Mauricio is one of 12 managers in the running for The Best FIFA Men’s Coach, while striker Harry is on a list of 24 stars vying for The Best FIFA Men’s Player award.

A panel of legends from across FIFA's six confederations put the shortlists together based on the top performers in world football between 20 November 2016 and 2 July 2017.

The winners of each category will be decided by the head coaches and captains of all national teams, a group of over 200 members of the international media and a public fan ballot on FIFA.com.

The voting process will open on 21 August and close on 7 September. FIFA will announce the final lists of the three nominees for each of the categories – as well as for the FIFA Puskás Award, the FIFA Fan Award and the brand new The Best FIFA Goalkeeper award – in September.
