Ahtinen and Summanen called up by Finland

Olga Ahtinen and Eveliina Summanen have been selected for Finland ahead of their UEFA Women’s European Championship 2025 qualifiers in April.

In action next month, the Helmarit are set to face Celin Bizet’s Norway in the opening game of their group on Friday 5 April (5pm UK) before welcoming Italy to the Helsinki Olympic Stadium just four days later (5:15pm UK).

Olga and Eveliina both made their return to the Finland squad in February after both had spells on the sidelines, with the pair helping their side to claim the Pinatar Cup trophy after a victory over Scotland in the final.

The two Finnish midfielders have made 61 appearances to date for Finland.
