It was a night of firsts against AS Monaco in the Europa League back in December, 2015.

Erik Lamela shone in the rain at the Lane with his first hat-trick for the Club in this impressive 4-1 win against a team that would take the Champions League by storm the following season.

Meanwhile, Academy graduate Tom Carroll also registered for the first time as we clinched top spot in the group.

Lamela has gone on to play 214 times for us in all competitions, scoring 33 goals. Carroll featured 56 times for us before moving to Swansea in 2017.
