My Spurs Debut

The section where we invite Spurs fans to pinpoint their first ever visit to White Hart Lane and detail the players who captured their imagination in those early days. This month, Gaz Shah from Stevenage takes us back less than two years to the evening we faced Georgian side Dinamo Tbilisi in the home leg of a European encounter.

My first visit to see a Tottenham game at White Hart Lane was quite recent by comparison to some of your other readers who write in to this page. It was in August, 2013, for a Europa League match and despite it nearly being two years down the line I remember it like it was yesterday!

I’d been offered the chance to go with a friend to sit in the West Stand to see us play Dinamo Tbilisi. We sat in the upper tier and consequently I was able to enjoy a marvellous view of the game. It had been a sunny afternoon when we drove to the area and thankfully that led to a mild evening.
